I believe in miracles. I believe everything happens for a reason. I believe there is a higher power at work, protecting us, guiding us and paving a way for us. Nothing happens by chance. It isn’t luck. It is not a coincidence. Everything that occurs is part of a greater purpose, a bigger plan and has always been intended for us.
Some call it synchronicity. Some call it karma, fate or destiny. Others believe in a God. But coincidences – do they really exist? By definition, a coincidence is a remarkable concurrence of events or circumstances that apparently happen by chance. I just cannot fathom that events occur by chance or pure randomness. Everything happens for a reason. The way stuff falls into place so seamlessly and miracles take place cannot be explained as a ‘strange coincidence’. There is something more.
I believe every circumstance, the good and the bad all occur in order to lead us to exactly where we are meant to be. Every relationship, every moment of despair, every challenge, every success, every failure – each and every moment has its purpose. Whether it is to teach us, test us, strengthen us or humble us, there is a reason behind it all.
Fate, destiny, luck, synchronicity, the law of attraction – call it what you will, but does it not all effectively mean the same thing? Does it not all ultimately come down to spirituality? Having a spiritual connection and faith in something of higher power?
Whether you believe it is God, Allah, the Universe or something else, our values and beliefs remain the same. We all share the belief that there is something bigger, more powerful at work. We all have faith that someone or something is taking care of us, looking out for us, creating our life path before us. We all believe in miracles and that each moment has lead us to where we are today. Does it matter if we call it the same thing? Does it matter if I use the word ‘Universe’ and someone else uses the word ‘God’? It is faith. It is spirituality. It is ultimately the same thing.
